Claudia's idea is to write on slips of paper several mini jobs you keep putting off. "spend 2 hours straightening the sewing room," "organize dresser drawers," etc. Draw a slip of paper once a day from the jar, take a before and after photo, and share with other participants. And be sure to write down each job after you've accomplished it. Each week if we accomplish our chosen chore, we get to treat ourselves to Starbucks (or whatever).
That sounds like fun, I thought to myself.
Now, admittedly, I am a slob. Throw something in the closet, shut the door, and you're done. Out of sight, out of mind and all that.
But Claudia is a fun and motivating friend, and we have decided to begin this project Wednesday, April 19. That gives us 256 days left in the year.
So I'm off to scribble a few chores down on slips of paper and begin my Job Jar!
