As a kid I was a big journal/diary keeper and ADORED blank books, although I always felt bad messing them up with my atrocious handwriting! And I love the idea of datebooks and planners, but am just not organized to establish a daily routine where I faithfully use one.
Some time ago I saw an ad on my computer for a #bulletjournal (I'm using the hashtags to see if that really generates any readership). Looked like fun, but of course the samples are all colorful and organized and the handwriting is neat and consistent.
"Be as organized or as messy as you want to be!" the video ad encouraged.
I am so tempted to buy myself one, plus a new set of colorful markers, just for the heck of it. They're small and under $10, the ones I've seen, so it wouldn't be a BIG waste of money...and today I began my aforementioned challenge with 2 friends to tackle projects we generally procrastinate on. If we complete a week's worth of chores from our Job Jars, we get a treat. Maybe my 1st treat will be a Bullet Journal! There are some pretty ones at Amazon, or I might see if 2ndandCharles has any; I have several used books I can trade in for cash there....hm....
Does anyone out there use a #bulletjournal? if so, how effective do you find them? Let me know!
