Here's a little synopsis of Book #3, Raid On Cochecho;
The setting is 1676 New Hampshire in the midst of the French-Indian wars. Several refugee Mohawks from Massachusetts flee to New Hampshire and live among the peaceful Penacook tribe. Two Massachusetts companies come to retrieve the Mohawks and arrive at Cochecho, where Major Richard Waldron convinces them to have a 'sham battle' and assemble both the local Penacook and the refugee Mohawk Indians. You can read about the actual account here. Thirteen years later, the Penacook take their revenge on Waldron and the settlers, which my story is about. I am a direct descendant of Elizabeth Heard, Richard Otis, Ebenezer Varney and several other families impacted by that event.
It's so frustrating to not write every day, but I get these awful bouts of writer's block and am pretty stymied when my Muses won't talk to me!
Apparently I have developed a small following (dare I say fan base?) of my previous 2 books, and so I am going to promise that I will do a little blogging AT LEAST once a week, to keep your interests up!
Hoping December is good to all of you! More later!
