I recently bought from The Rainforest Site (I click on it every morning, along with its companion sites) a Himalayan Salt tea light holder. The good ions in the salt are supposed to be beneficial and help eliminate the "bad" ions given off by electronics, so I put it on our computer desk. When Lily isn't scooping the candle out of it, I light it before I begin writing. This, in addition to listening to Creative Boost subliminal brainwaves, really gets my creative juices flowing and summons my Muses!
I made a change since posting my opening scene in Part One; Alice, Grace's older sister, will be 16 in 1676 instead of 13. This will allow for her to be less childlike as her fondness for Absalom Hart blossoms.
Oh boy I am excited about this book now! Now if only I were more DISCIPLINED and would just sit down and write steadily for hours on end instead of so sporadically! But the characters ARE taking shape, and that's the important thing!
